§ 6-15. Court costs.

(a)

Court costs for traffic cases in the municipal court of the city are hereby set at $107.00 subject to subsection (e) of this section.

(b)

Court costs for nontraffic cases, other than drug-related cases, in the municipal court of the city, are hereby set at $197.00 subject to subsection (e) of this section.

(c)

Court costs for drug-related cases including possession of marijuana 2 ^nd and possession of drug paraphernalia, in the municipal court of the city, are hereby set at $337.00 subject to subsection (e) of this section.

(d)

Court costs for cases brought in the municipal court of the city, for an offense brought under the city ordinance adopting Code of Ala. 1975, § 32-5A-191 or under said section are hereby set at $177.00 subject to subsection (e) of this section.

(e)

All court costs collected in addition to, or over and above those in effect by state statute or other mandate as of this date, shall be deposited for the exclusive purpose of the operation and maintenance of the city jail, municipal court complex or any other correctional facility, detention center or court complex which the city council of the city, may designate pursuant to and in compliance with Code of Ala. § 11-47-7.1.
