§ 6-2. Jurisdiction.

The municipal court shall have jurisdiction of all prosecutions for the breach of ordinances of the municipality within its corporate limits and police jurisdiction. This jurisdiction shall also extend to all prosecution for violations of state offenses committed within the corporate limits and police jurisdiction of the municipality where such offenses have been made offenses against the municipality.
