§ 6-9. Powers of the mayor.

The mayor may remit fines and such costs as payable to the municipality and commute sentences imposed by the municipal judge to which an appeal was taken for violations of such ordinances, and shall report such action to the council at the first regular meeting thereof in the succeeding month with the reasons therefor in writing.
