§ 15-5. Code enforcement officer.

The position of code enforcement officer is hereby created, with the following duties and responsibilities:
(1)

Act in the capacity of "building official" as defined by the city building code.

(2)

Enforce fire codes, minimum housing codes, zoning codes and other codes deemed appropriate by the city council.

(3)

Act under the supervision of the community development director.

(4)

Inspect and supervise improvements being completed in accordance with adopted subdivision regulations and applicable standards and specifications.
